Since 2016, Andis Foundation has awarded nearly $2,000,000 to the missions of Racine Wisconsin area organizations and charities in other regions that also support our mission.
Inspiration and hope. It is what our partners at The Grooming Project are all about. This innovative, Kansas City-based nonprofit organization works to lift single-parent families out of poverty through education and job training in the art of pet grooming. Not only do they impart grooming knowledge but they also offer the additional support services so vital in breaking the cycle of poverty – from housing and transportation to counseling and legal aid.
We provide support to numerous nonprofit youth programs, including 4-H and Future Farmers of America, dedicated to the next generation of farming. These programs work to help youth develop vital skills outside the traditional classroom, so they can succeed in life as well as career.
Andis believes that barbers make a difference our communities. In fact, The Confess Project is using neighborhood barbershops across the U.S. as a platform to raise awareness for mental health among men and boys of color and their families. Training barbers to become frontline mental health advocates and promote positive dialogue about emotional health, The Confess Project and our country’s barbers are making a difference one haircut at a time.
